I found this book as a hot read on my kindle. And at first, considering all the vampire hype recently, I was a little skeptic. But as I continued reading the more i became enchanted by Glen Duncan's writing. He gives us a unique view of a lifetime of loneliness (or rather a few lifetimes). There are many cliffhanger's that leave the reader craving more. Besides twilight, vampire novels tend to lean more toward hypnotic seduction, whereas werewolves tap more into the inner beast within man. Although the language is a little heavy, this is a good read. I'd give the book an A-.
